Di Wu is a professor of College of Engineering and Applied Science, Nanjing University. He received his Ph.D. in 2000 from Nanjing University, and became a faculty member in Department of materials science and engineering of Nanjing University in the same year. He has worked as a postdoc in Centre d'Elaboration des Matériaux et d'Etudes Structurales, CNRS, France. He is experienced in perovskite hetero-epitaxy with atomic scale thickness control and in characterizations of electrical and magnetic properties. His research is focused on the deposition, characterization and novel applications of perovskite thin films and heterostructures. He is the principal investigator of 9 national and provincial research projects and has authored and co-authored more than 80 journal articles.

Yurong Yang is a professor of College of Engineering and Applied Science, Nanjing University. He received his Ph.D. in 2010 from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He was a post-doctoral in University of Arkansas from 2011-2013, and then became a research professor in University of Arkansas until 2018, when he joined Nanjing University as a professor in College of Engineering and Applied Science. He is experienced in developing/using first-principles based methods to explain the complex phenomena in oxide-based materials, predict and design new functional materials with distinguished properties. He has authored and co-authored more than 70 journal articles.
